Sarah Hansell, CPA
Sarah is a founding Partner of Hansell & Associates LLP. She has a background in both financial accounting and business systems implementations.
Sarah obtained her CPA license during her four year stint working with the financial audit group of Arthur Andersen, LLP. From there she went on to start up and manage the accounting and finance functions of a spin-off biotechnology company. In addition, she took on the implementation of the company’s accounting system from the system selection phase to training users and providing first line post implementation support. This interested her enough for her to leave the company to work as a consultant implementing systems such as SAP and Oracle Financials.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, Finance from San Diego State University, is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants; and is a NetSuite Certified Consultant.
Christopher Hansell, CPA
Christopher is a founding Partner of Hansell & Associates LLP. He has a background in both financial accounting and business systems implementations. Christopher is primarily involved with selection and implementation of accounting systems for small to medium size businesses.
Prior to joining Hansell & Associates on a full time basis Christopher spent five years a consultant and manager with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. During his tenure at PwC in San Francisco he was primarily responsible for implementing business process controls and application security on large scale SAP implementations.
Prior to transferring to San Francisco with PwC Christopher spent three years as a financial auditor with Price Waterhouse in Montreal Canada.
As both a systems implementer and auditor with a large public accounting firm, Christopher has gained in depth experience in accounting, taxation, and business process engineering.
Christopher holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from McGill University, with a double major in Accounting and Management Information Systems. Christopher also holds a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from McGill University; is a member of both the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Christopher has been NetSuite Certified Consultant since 2000 and a QuickBooks Pro Advisor since 2004.
